FDNY fire truck crashes into parked cars
NEW YORK (FOX5NY.COM) - An FDNY fire truck from Ladder 120 crashed into several parked cars at East New York Avenue and St. Mark's Avenue in Brooklyn just after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, officials said.
Six firefighters were taken to Brookdale University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, the FDNY said. No one was in the parked cars.
Video from the accident scene shows that the truck smashed into at least one car and one SUV, which are pushed into another parked vehicle.
The firefighter who was driving the truck may have had a medical episode, according to the NYPD.
Both the NYPD and FDNY are investigating.
