Dog rescued from East River by NYPD

A group of NYPD officers sprang into action over the weekend to rescue a small white dog found swimming in the East River near the South Street Seaport. The pup — now affectionately named Hudson — was brought to the Animal Care Centers of NYC in East Harlem, where she’s recovering and waiting to be reunited with her owner. FOX 5’s Meredith Gorman met Hudson at the shelter and shares how viewers can help reunite her with her family — or give her a forever home.
