2 girls shot and injured at Brooklyn playground: NYPD

Two children were shot and injured in Brooklyn Monday night, police said.

BROOKLYN - Two young girls were shot and injured in Brooklyn Monday night, police said.

It happened just after 10 p.m. at a playground in Brownsville.

Police say the victims are two girls ages 9 and 11. They were injured after the shots were fired.

Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
