NTSB: Weather a factor in deadly NY plane crash
The National Transportation Safety Board says deteriorating weather conditions likely contributed to Saturday’s deadly plane crash in Copake, New York, that killed six people. Investigators say the small aircraft was attempting a second landing at Columbia County Airport after missing its first approach when the crash occurred.
