NYC's first 'Black Lives Matter' street sign painted in Brooklyn

The first of five street murals planned for New York City in support of Black Lives Matter was painted in Brooklyn. The 28-foot tall letters in bright, yellow were painted along Fulton Street and Restoration Plaza in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

The New York Primary Election is in less than two weeks and in the 12th Congressional District, Carolyn Maloney, who has been in congress for nearly 30 years, is up against three candidates, all in their 30s, who are looking to unseat her.
