The New York City Council is trying to crack down on e-bike safety, considering several new bills, including one that would require food delivery companies to provide e-bikes and batteries for workers that meet city safety standards. Warehouse fire: Several e-bikes found charred

Hundreds of e-bikes and mopeds were laid scattered across 63rd St. in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn – some charred from the fire, others still wrapped in plastic and cardboard boxes. FOX 5 NY's Kendall Green has the details.

There were reports of a fire in a 4-story warehouse in Brooklyn on Sunday. Firefighters responded to the scene where piles of e-bikes were found scorched.

Mudslide causes major cancellations

According to Amtrak Northeast, service between Albany and NYC have also been canceled for the rest of the day due to ‘debris on the tracks.’ Fox 5 NY's Richard Giacovis is on the scene.

Two Americans held by Hamas have been released

The Israeli government said Hamas militants on Friday freed two Americans. Judith Raanan and her 17-year-old daughter, Natalie, are from suburban Chicago. They had been held hostage in Gaza since militants rampaged through Israel two weeks ago.
