Lawmakers held hearings at the New Jersey Statehouse over the legalization of recreational marijuana on Monday. The bill known as "New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory and Expungement Aid Modernization Act" would legalize the possession and personal use of one ounce or less of marijuana for people at least 21 years old.

Coca-Cola is reportedly in talks with a cannabis producer to make CBD-infused beverages to help ease drinkers' inflammation and pain. Dr. Jennifer Caudle, a family physician and associate professor at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, talked to Fox 5 News about this idea.

NJ medical marijuana review
Gov. Phil Murphy is ordering his administration to review New Jersey's medical marijuana program, which he says has been stifled over the past eight years. The Democrat signed an executive order on Tuesday. He says the program has been difficult to access and the state will not deny compassionate care to people any longer.
