President Trump to make rare stay at Trump Tower

President Donald Trump will be in New York City Thursday evening for a roundtable with supporters and a fundraiser.

Trump was expected to arrive aboard Air Force One at JFK International Airport at 5:30 p.m. He'll then be flown to the Wall Street helipad aboard Marine One.

The roundtable with supporters was scheduled for 6:30 p.m. followed by the Joint Fundraising Committee Dinner at 7:30 p.m.

The President was expected to make a rare overnight stay at his home in Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan.

Gridlock was anticipated as the presidential motorcade makes its way around the city.
