NYPD: Person of interest in custody after man slashed on F train in Manhattan
NEW YORK - Police say a person of interest is in custody after a man was attacked while riding an F train in Manhattan on Thursday.
The victim, a 28-year-old, told police that he was slashed in the torso and possibly the cheek at around 1:30 p.m.
The victim got off the train at 53rd and Lexington with injuries that are not said to be life-threatening.
A motive for the attack is currently unknown.
