NEW JERSEY - Several school districts in New York and New Jersey are opening late Wednesday after a storm brought flooding and power outages to the New York City area.

New York
Brewster School District
All Brewster Central School District schools are on a two-hour delay. School bus pickup times will be two hours later than normal.

Ellenville School District
All Ellenville Central Schools will open on a two-hour delay.
Freeport Public Schools
All Freeport schools will be operating on a two-hour delay. This means that all children report to their schools or to their bus stop two hours later than their usual time.
All morning Pre-K classes are canceled. All dismissals will be at the usual time.
Island Park Public Schools
Francis X. Hegarty Elementary School and Lincoln Orens Middle School, including the UPK program, will have a 10:30 a.m. delayed opening.
Students that are transported to school on buses should report to their bus stop two hours after their regularly scheduled pick-up time.

Lodi Public Schools
All Lodi Public Schools will be closed.
Bergen County Technical Schools
The Bergen County Technical Schools District will be having a 90-minute delayed opening.
Bergen County Special Services
Bergen County Special Services schools will have a 60-minute delayed opening.
Cliffside Park School District
The Cliffside Park School District will have a delayed opening. Staff must report at 9 a.m., while students report at 10 a.m.
Englewood Cliffs School District
Due to inclement weather, the Upper School will open at 10:15 am and North Cliff School at 10:30 am.
Fair Lawn Public Schools
Schools will open on a 90-minute delay. Before care is canceled.
Buses will operate on a delayed opening schedule.

All MPS schools and offices will have a delayed opening. Bus route pick-up times will be delayed by two hours.
YMCA morning care will operate on a two-hour delay and will open at 9:30 a.m. in all elementary schools.
Riverdale Public Elementary
Riverdale Public School will have a delayed opening.
