Shivonne comes to WNYW from CNN where she spent most of her career as an anchor producer, writer and associate producer in New York, Atlanta and Washington D.C. She's covered live programming during the tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, the Jan. 6 United States Capitol attack, and the Uvalde school massacre.
Shivonne has a bachelor's and a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts. As a student correspondent for the University, she reported live from the Presidential Inauguration of Donald J. Trump and the 2016 Democratic National Convention. She was also the commencement speaker at her college graduation.
Shivonne was born and raised in New Jersey and is passionate about covering local news for the Tri-State area.
