Man set on fire in Times Square: Police search for suspect

A man was set on fire in the middle of Times Square overnight Sunday and police are now searching for the suspect responsible.

What we know:

Police say the 45-year-old man was found on fire around 4 a.m. near 41st Street and 7th Avenue.

Footage from the scene showed the man severely burned, being rushed by authorities into an ambulance after the flames were extinguished.

He was later taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
