Fire destroys Long Island condos, reignites hours later
LONG ISLAND - A fire broke out at a condo complex on Long Island overnight Thursday and reignited early Friday morning.
Firefighters are still working to contain what was a three-alarm fire in Jericho.
Authorities initially thought the flames were under control, but the fire flared up again around 7 a.m.
Aerial footage from SkyFox showed flames at the center of the complex, surrounded by debris.
Officials say the scattered rubble may have hidden the smaller fire that reignited hours later.
Two firefighters sustained injuries during the efforts to contain the fire. So far, no residents have been reported injured.
