Fatal fire in the Bronx

It took hundreds of firefighters to battle the blaze. The cause of the fire is still unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.

A fatal house fire in the Bronx killed one person and injured three firefighters around 9 p.m. Monday night. 
According to the FDNY, two houses were engulfed in flames near Bainbridge Avenue in the Fordham Heights section.

It took 138 firefighters over two hours to battle the 3-alarm fire. 
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
