NEW JERSEY - Parts of New Jersey were rattled by a 2.4 magnitude earthquake on Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS says the earthquake happened around 1:02 p.m in Bergen County, between Paramus and River Edge.
