Researching psychedelics

A clinical trial is looking into the possible effectiveness of psychedelics, like psilocybin, to reduce dependency on alcohol. NYU Langone is also researching its effects on major depression and terminal cancer. The trials are a component of NYU Langone Health's new Center for Psychedelic Medicine.
