Weather Forecast
Meteorologist Mike Woods says we are off to a quiet start to the day with a mainly clear sky with mild, muggy conditions. The warmer, more humid weather will return to the region today with highs in the upper 80s. Clouds will be building in today with showers and storms developing this afternoon... some of which could become severe producing very heavy rain, high winds, some hail and maybe even isolated tornadoes. These storms continue into this evening with some storms still possibly producing some severe weather. Storms should settle down later tonight though. Hurricane Laura is also working it's way toward our region and it will bring additional rain and winds here Saturday.
