Meteorologist Mike Woods says we can look forward to a mixed sky today with windy and colder conditions. There will also be a few quick snow showers or squalls that pass through the region during the day. Today's highs will top out around 40°. We also have a wind advisory in effect for parts of the tri-state as wind gusts approach 50 mph. The clouds will break up tonight, but it will still be quite windy and very cold. Lows will be in the lower 20s.
