Lifetown prepares special needs children and adults for the real world
LifeTown is a $19M project to create a Main Street that looks like every Main Street in America, in order to allow those with special needs to practice how to navigate life in any town. Visitors practice day-to-day life and increasing their indepdendence by banking, food shopping, going to the movies and a nail salon, working at a pet store, and even learning how to wait for the light at crosswalks or deal with a visit to the Dentist's office.
