Slain cop honored

A New York City street has been renamed in honor of a police officer who was ambushed and killed last year in a parked police vehicle. What is now Detective Miosotis Familia Way is part of Ryer Avenue by the Bronx stationhouse where Familia worked. A renaming ceremony was held Thursday, the anniversary of her death.
