Migraine prevention drug
Last week, the FDA approved the drug Aimovig for migraine treatment. Amiovig works by blocking the chemical protein in the brain that causes migraines to form. The drug is administered once a month by injection into the thigh or upper arm with a device similar to an EpiPen.
