Westchester power problems linger
Hundreds across Westchester County who lost power during Friday's nor'easter shivered through another nor'easter Wednesday. Many of the homeowners are elderly. Others have young kids to worry about. The expected 8 to 12 inches of snow in New York City did not materialize. However, the storm walloped areas north and west of the city. Central Park in Manhattan saw about 2.5 inches of snow by 7 p.m., whereas parts of New Jersey and New York's Hudson Valley reported 15 to 20 or more inches of snow.
