Look out for falling ice

More people are looking up while walking around the city Wednesday a day after a 25-foot chunk of ice fell from a building in SoHo, crushing a car parked on the Charlton Street. Now that temperatures are rising, ice is melting. The city Buildings Department says building owners are responsible for removing snow and ice. If they don’t, they will be slapped with a violation.
