Cop killer sentenced

A New York judge on Tuesday sentenced a convicted cop killer to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Last month, a jury convicted Demetrius Blackwell, 37, of murder and other charges in the death of Police Officer Brian Moore and the attempted murder of Police Officer Eric Jansen, who was not hurt in the 2015 shooting.
