Seeing The Nutcracker is a holiday tradition for many families. But dancers in Brooklyn are turning that tradition on its toes with a thoroughly modern adaptation. Brooklyn Ballet founding artistic director Lynn Parkerson says something with that name should reflect what Brooklyn is.
