College student mowed down

Loved ones are mourning the loss of Taranjit Parmar, 18, who was mowed down by a hit-and-run driver in what police are calling a horrible tragedy. The Nassau County Police Department is asking for help. Det. Vincent Garcia said the incident happened during rush hour on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, so he believes someone must have witnessed it.
