Extra security at NYC Marathon
The NYPD, state, and NYRR promised added security at the New York City Marathon in the wake of the terror attack in Lower Manhattan. The marathon's Blue Line painting ceremony that celebrates the painting of the line that traces the 26.2-mile course has been postponed.
