Very old wine and spirits discovered in New Jersey

Jeff Eckert and other staff at the Liberty Hall Museum at Kean University in Union were restoring the wine cellar in the building when they stumbled onto three cases of madeira wine that were shipped to the colonies just after the Revolutionary War. Some of the bottled date all the way back to 1796.
