Bronx-Lebanon Hospital heroes during shooting

Many staff members at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital thought the Code Silver that went off June 30, 2017, was a drill. The horrifying moments to follow proved it wasn't the case. Former employee Dr. Henry Bello open fired on the 16th and 17th floors that day. He shot several people, killing another doctor. Then turned the gun on himself. A week later, doctors and nurses shared where they were when they jumped into action. Their stories are heroic, yet each more chilling than the next.
