Jewish Long Island couple mourns Pope Francis

A Jewish couple from Long Island, Gary and Meredith Krupp, have become some of the Catholic Church’s closest allies—knighted by three popes and recognized for their decades of work promoting interfaith unity. Through their nonprofit, Pave the Way Foundation, the Krupps have helped bridge gaps between Judaism and Catholicism by sharing historical documents, dispelling religious myths, and meeting with Church leaders—including Pope Francis, whom they met five times. FOX 5’s Michelle Ross sat down with the couple as they mourned the pope’s passing and reflected on his warmth, humility, and global message of peace.
