Lawsuit slows Hochul’s Medicaid shakeup
A judge has extended a restraining order blocking New York's plan to overhaul a vital Medicaid home care program, CDPAP. The program allows patients to hire caregivers, including family members, but a state-mandated switch to a single payroll processor, Public Partnerships LLC, has led to confusion, missed paychecks, and fear for those who rely on home care.
