Supporters protest Wendy Williams’ guardianship

Dozens gathered outside an assisted living facility in Hudson Yards to show support for former talk show host Wendy Williams, who is fighting to end her court-appointed guardianship. Diagnosed with aphasia and dementia, Williams has been under guardianship since 2022 but says she didn’t understand the full extent of the legal arrangement. Her fans—and former staffers—are now speaking out, claiming she’s being held against her will. FOX 5’s Lisa Everson reports.
