EMT who saved lives after bus crash honored
A New Jersey EMT is being recognized as a hometown hero after rescuing teenagers trapped in a school bus crash on the Garden State Parkway. Matt Goldman, a Tri-Boro EMT and nursing student, was the first person to pull over and provide aid after the bus flipped over in Montvale. His quick response helped save a 14-year-old child trapped under the vehicle. In appreciation, the Montvale mayor awarded him the key to the borough, and he was honored by both the state legislature and his fellow EMTs. FOX 5 New York’s Teresa Priolo has the story.
