Zabar’s Celebrates 90 Years

Zabar’s, the iconic gourmet grocery store on the Upper West Side, is being honored with its very own day—February 6 is now officially Zabar’s Appreciation Day. Known for its legendary bagels, lox, and coffee, Zabar’s has been a staple in the community since 1934. Generations of New Yorkers have shopped at the family-run business, which has expanded from a small storefront to a neighborhood institution.
