‘Sex and the City’ brownstone gets gate for stoop
The iconic West Village brownstone featured as Carrie Bradshaw’s home in HBO’s Sex and the City has become a hotspot for tourists and influencers—but not everyone is thrilled. Residents and building owners at 66 Perry St are fed up with constant crowds, late-night photo sessions, and trespassing. To deter visitors, the owners have received city approval to install a cast iron gate. FOX 5’s Arthur Chi’en reports on the ongoing battle between fans and neighbors over the famous stoop.
