Prehistoric fossil found in NY backyard

A prehistoric discovery was found in the backyard of a home in Orange County. A complete mastodon jaw fossil was found sticking right out of the soil. It’s the first discovery of its kind in our area in more than a decade. FOX 5 NY’s Richard Giacovas took a trip to Scotchtown, New York and has more on the rare find.
