Calling for help with brush fires

We usually see them out west, but several parts of the tristate area battled a series of wildfires. Just recently, New York City faced its first drought warning in more than two decades. A statewide burn ban will also be in effect until Nov. 30. Brush fires ripped through some of the city’s major parks like Prospect, Van Courtlandt, and Inwood Hill. An 18-year-old parks department employee tragically died in the Orange County fire. All of this led to the FDNY launching its first ever Brush Fire Task Force. FOX 5 NY’s Michelle Ross explains Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is now calling on Washington to step up.
