Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO pleads not guilty

The former longtime CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking and interstate prostitution charges. Michael Jeffries declined to comment Friday after he entered the plea in federal court in Central Islip, New York. He is free on $10 million bond and is due back in court on Dec. 12. Prosecutors allege that the 80-year-old Jeffries, his romantic partner and a third man, James Jacobson, lured men into outlandish, drug-fueled sex parties in the Hamptons, on Long Island, by dangling the promise of modeling for the retailer’s ads.
