Lawmakers push legislation to increase psych care

Local legislators on opposite sides of the aisle are coming together to throw their support behind a new bill called the Michelle Go Act, named for the woman who was killed after being pushed in front of a subway train by a mentally ill man in 2022. The proposed bill would get Medicaid to cover more psychiatric care.
