Celebrations mark first night of Hanukkah

Jews around the world have begun celebrations for Hanukkah. Here, in our area, a rabbi, a cardinal and a Muslim scholar came together to light the first candle of a menorah outside of Temple Emanu-EL on the Upper East Side.
