NYC asks for more migrant crisis aid
The migrant crisis is estimated to cost taxpayers $12B by July 1, 2025, forcing the city to spend more on the new arrivals than it does on the fire, parks and sanitation departments combined. Mayor Adams and other city officials are demanding more help from the state and federal officials.
