New NY initiative to crack down on speeding in construction zones

State officials are taking action to crack down on speeding in construction zones by installing cameras in active work zones. A total of 30 SUVs equipped with cameras will be deployed across the state, reminding drivers that cameras are rolling and drivers going above the posted speed limit will be ticketed.
