NYC Councilmembers hold e-bike safety hearing

The New York City Council held a hearing on two bills that would address e-bike safety in the city by creating a trade-in program for old lithium-ion batteries, and would require businesses that use e-bikes in their operation to provide fireproof of fire resistant containers for their workers to safely store them in.
