Former radio journalist fights rare vocal disorder and spreads awareness

Peter Haskell, a respected journalist who reported for WCBS NewsRadio 880, was diagnosed with spasmodic dysphonia, a rare vocal disorder that makes it difficult to speak. In this video, Fox 5 News Reporter Linda Schmidt interviews Peter Haskell about his journey with this rare condition that affects about 70 thousand Americans. Peter is now retired and is devoted to helping Dysphonia International, a nonprofit organization that aims to make the public aware of vocal disorders.
