Lawsuits seek to hold Central Islip School District accountable for student safety

Long Island mom Latasha Bennett has filed a lawsuit against the Central Islip School District on behalf of her 16-year-old daughter, who Bennett says was sexually assaulted by a known "groper." Bennett says her daughter has been bullied by groups of girls since middle school and that the district tried to cover up the incident without calling the police.
