Ian pummels Sanibel Island

Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida just north of Sanibel Island. Traffic cameras captured video of the powerful winds and raging storm surge pummeling the island. The storm even damaged the causeway that connects Sanibel Island to the mainland. (Video from Storyful)
