Gov. Hochul signs Alyssa's Law

Governor Kathy Hochul has signed a new law that could bring silent panic buttons to more classrooms. 'Alyssa's Law' is named after 14-year-old Alyssa Alhadeff, who was shot and killed in the Parkland School shooting in 2018.
