Arm teachers? AFT says no way

The American Federation of Teachers — which represents 1.7 million teachers, paraprofessionals, higher education faculty and staff, and other education workers — is adamantly opposed to giving guns to teachers as a way to keep schools safe during mass shootings, according to AFT President Randi Weingarten.
