Health-care worker burnout

Vice Adm. Vivek Murthy, the U.S. surgeon general, says the burnout of health-care workers is a national crisis. Murthy visited Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. Workers described their feelings to him with the words "traumatic, exhausting, heartbreaking, desperation, emotional," which Murthy said "speaks to the depth of this crisis."
