Con Ed bills skyrocket

State Sen. Michael Gianaris says his office has been flooded with calls and emails from residents in Queens with the same complaints: their Con Edison bills increasing by up to 300%. Con Ed said it cannot control the costs from the private power generators and natural gas suppliers.
